A top seller!
It's big. And if you think you know the "Taylor" sound, you're in for a big surprise. Meet the all-new Grand Symphony, an original body shape developed by Bob Taylor. With sleek lines all its own, the GS feels and sounds unlike anything else in the Taylor family. Inaugural GS Models feature four wood combinations, each with the same visual appointmentsand all for around the same price.Try each one and find your big tone.
GS Rosewood/Cedar
Indian rosewood and Western Red cedar is a pairing that is traditionally among our best-selling models. The softness of cedar will yield subtle differences in tone when compared to the rosewood/spruce combination.
GS Shape
Though you might see similarities to a Grand Auditorium, the GS is unique in both sound and shape. Significant changes in its geometry yield a deeper, more piano-like bass. A wider lower bout and higher, wider waist return ample volume and low-end sustain, in symphony with fuller mids and balanced highs.
Gloss Finish
The finish used to create this guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultraviolet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.
