Emilio Mazari, founder of the Italian effects pedal manufacturer Cornerstone, and Dutch guitarist and Youtuber Paul David have collaborated to create the Nucleo Stereo Reverb, which offers a wide reverb for grandiose soundscapes thanks to its stereo inputs and outputs. Paul David was inspired by the unique reverb reflection of a nuclear power plant, which is the idea behind the Nucleo pedal. The reverb engine of the pedal is therefore based on the sounds that Paul recorded during his visit to a nuclear power plant and offers a unique reverb sound. The three reverb types Room, Hall and The Reactor can be selected in detail, while three sliders for Mod (Rate), Air (Pitch) and Flux (Speed) offer interesting parameters for effect sound coloration and reverb modulation respectively. There are also controls for Blend, Decay, Tone and FRZ-PCH, which provide further setting options for detailed effect processing. In addition to the obligatory footswitch for On/Bypass, there is an additional footswitch for Freeze, which can provide infinite reverb to create dense reverb walls. The pedal also supports full MIDI and can be used as an interface via the USB-C output.
