The Subatomic preamp is an all analog 2 channel preamp designed to bring the most brutal bass tones. Cascading CMOS stages with parallel processing for natural low frequencies makes it an effective tool for playing distorted bass tones with definition and full bodied response. The clean channel brings the subtle compression and tube-like response of Cmos stages to warm up your tone, and the Subatomic drive channel has a very aggressive distortion with a clean blend. Both channels share the 3 band passive EQ to get the most ample range of tones out of this versatile device. But that’s not all. DSM included an XLR DI out with switchable analog cabinet simulation of a huge 8x10 fridge and an FX loop, so you won’t need an external DI box when using post-drive effects. The pre-FX loop can be assigned to the preamp, the parallel chain or both at the same time, allowing to use different effects per side without the use of splitters or extra cables. The XLR outputs are “Main”, and “Parallel”, so users can separate each one into different devices or channels for reamp recording, or a separate subwoofer for the sub lows. Additionally, it includes a headphone out with Auxiliary input, and 2 TS outputs with Parallel- Thru and Main-Cabinet simulator Bypass options.
