The PreDrive is a studio-grade, dual foot-switchable guitar preamp designed to help shape inspiring base tone. Hand built in the USA with two musical discrete opamp chips and audiophile components throughout, the PreDrive is designed to be the first pedal in your chain and preserve every detail of your guitar's tone. Beyond a transparent set of sweep-able filters for tone shaping, each stage of the PreDrive exhibits a different flavor of analog saturation when pushed hard. Each stage interacts to impart rich tone only available from high-end analog circuitry, ranging from a lightly enhanced clean to the edge of overdrive. The PreDrive has two operating modes, 1) Clean Mode and 2) Drive Mode, which can be changed via a mini toggle switch. You can further adjust the clean/drive balance with the Drive Mix Knob. With a full frequency range and a transformer coupled Direct Output, you can capture highly musical direct-in tones in the studio, which is perfect for re-amping or using virtual amps.
